The Dowsey Legacy

A sims 3 story that goes on and on and on…

Chapter 11: A Fresh Start. October 13, 2009

Filed under: Second Generation — bethekins @ 10:51 pm

Triana Dowsey, the new heiress. It didn’t come to her as much of a shock when Elsa told her the good news that she would be carrying on the bloodline. Upon hearing the news, she soon left the family home, wanting to start her new life in the same way as her mother did. So, once again. We begin anew.

Being the second gen, and starting a new, I gave her $5000 and her old bike to build a -very- small home with only the very basics (bed, toilet, sink, fridge, 1 counter, 1 table, 1 chair). This left only a little money to pay weekly bills untill she was able to get a job and to really let her life on the roll.

After building her house, Triana spun the want to visit the park. So I sent her on herway, and as always, Triana left the house with her usual upbeat smile.

“Yes well, can’t be wallowing around my cardboard box of a house all day, besides, I wan’t to check out the locals, new girl in town needs to have some friends!”

Upon arrival at the park she promptly headed to the swing set.. Urm, Triana? Don’t you think He’s a little young? I don’t think his mother is too impressed..

Screenshot-8“Oh yeah, I’m new to town, I have a shiny new house and everything! Well, sort of.”

After a brief conversation with the young boy wandered off, leaving Triana to entertain herself. She quickly jumped onto the swings. I loved watching her, she’s still the same old girl I watched growing up, such a free spirit.

After a short play, the park began to get busy, and it didn’t take long for a local hunk to catch Triana’s eye. Quite good looking, although, personally, I think his fashion sense needed a bit of work.

It didn’t take long for our little girl to get down off the swing, and start up a conversation with Glenn Elfman, things were going really quite well, so the two began flirting, after a moment she asked him if he was single, and the reply was ‘yes’..

Screenshot-11Then, for some odd reason, she just took off at a sprint. But not without glancing over her shoulder at the bewildered man.

“Keep them guessing, keep them keen”

Screenshot-13She stood in the bathroom checking herself out in the mirror for a short while, before rolling the want of joining the medical career. So, I sent her over to talk with the local hospital, and she landed herself a job as an organ donor.

And as the sun set on her first day in her new life, Triana had a new job, a new house, and possibly had found a new friend.

Chapter 12: What a week.

Sorry for the lack of chapters lately, I have been very busy and only just started playing sims again, as it was still crashing most of the time to desktop, but I found the offending item (it was a hairstyle) and began again. Triana is the same one from the original story, same traits and sim, although her LTW is now illustrated Author, as master of the arts wasn’t a choice for her. I will post more chapters as they come, I’m hoping every 1-2 weeks or so, and I hope that they’re as good as first-gen 🙂
