The Dowsey Legacy

A sims 3 story that goes on and on and on…

Chapter Nine: Three’s a Crowd. July 7, 2009

Party! Its finally time for little Joss to grow up and take his first steps into manhood. Its an exiting time for the whole family, Elsa no longer has to micro manage the children, and the children get to cut the apron strings and venture out.

But it seems Joss isn’t that terribly exited about his impending birthday.

Screenshot-25

No, I am. My cartoons are just on, so bug me later.

And so Joss’ party night rolled around. Elsa invited everyone, old friends, new friends, even Hank, the absent father.

Screenshot-30

Greeting him with a friendly hug? Good to see you’re letting bygones be bygones, eh, Elsa.

I wish, I’m just being polite for the party. I didn’t actually expect to have the scumbag rock up. Strange time to choose to start being a reliable father, when our child doesn’t need that much help any more.

Well that’s men for you. Speaking of which, is your Mr Mystery here yet?

Yes. But this isn’t about me, Its about Joss. He’s about to blow out his candles!

Screenshot-32

Not looking too pleased with Hank taking the best spot, hrm?

No, but at least he’s here

Make a wish and blow out the candles Joss!

Screenshot-33

“I wish for my Ghost army!”

Joss aged into a happy teenager and quickly sat down for a slice of cake. He rolled the absent minded trait. Looks like Kaywinnit has to reassure Mortimer that there won’t be another fire…

Screenshot-11Kay: “Its okay, the candles are out now! There won’t be another fire!”

So the party is finishing up and guests are leaving…Wait a second, where did Elsa run off to? Looks like she’s gone out side to meet up with her mystery man.

Screenshot-31

And its none other then ex-boyfriend, Gage Broidy! Well now, I half expected it to be the maid. So how’d you two hook up again?

Well, to be honest, not all the time I spent on the computer was to work on my books or reviews. We’ve been keeping in touch long before Hank decided to get up and leave.

Screenshot-37

Oh ho! This is juicy news!

And now that Joss is a teen, I think I’m ready to take this relationship back to the next step.

“Gage, I want to give us another shot, for real this time. Move in with me?”

Screenshot-39

He said yes, and moved in that night, and for the first time in weeks I had someone to keep me warm in the night.

The weekend rolled around quicker then I thought, and with all the new events taking place in my life, I decided it was time for a change of scene. With two teens and two adults in a 3 bedroom one bathroom house, it was feeling very cramped. So I demolished the old house and built a new, bigger house from the ground up.

Screenshot-16

The new house had three decent sized bedrooms, and a guest room, along with two bathrooms. I was finally able to get a proper dining room and kitchen too! Though, this did how ever eat all our savings and was only left with enough for the bills that week.

Screenshot-10

That’s not the only thing that has changed, either. Looks like Kaywinnit had finally told Mortimer how she feels.

“Roses are red, and I feel blue, when I am without my Morty-poos”

Screenshot-20

But, sadly, her advances were wasted on him. Better luck next time, eh, Kay?

The next day, Kaywinnit decided to change her look, and attempt to catch the eye of Mortimer

Screenshot-331Instantly his eyes became wider, or as wide as his eye’s could get, but was quickly distracted by Joss, who wanted to tell him about his master plan!

Screenshot-34

While the kids where busy outside, Elsa was getting busy inside, with off again-on again boyfriend, Gage.

Screenshot-75

For some reason, Gage decided to take a cold shower, and Elsa was barking at the toilet. Again.

I assure you. This isn’t what it looks like! I just ate some bad cooking is all, really!

Screenshot-12

Sure Elsa, I believe you.

Not feeling in the mood to watch a grown woman yacking, I went to find Kaywinnit, who seemed to be getting into a bit of tiff with none other then Pauline, her father’s mistress.

Screenshot-77“Oi! I know who you are! You bloody HOME WREACKER!”

Pretty obvious that Pauline wanted to be anywhere but there right now. And for good reason, looks like our darling daughter has a bit of a sharp tongue!

Screenshot-78

“You! You broke my family up! My Brother doesn’t even know Hank  because he ran back to his harlot! You better watch you back! You’ll never know when I’ll be there to push you over!”

Screenshot-81

Seems with all the fighting and yelling, Kaywinnit lost track of time, but the police didn’t, she was once again picked up for staying out past her curfew.

Elsa: “Where have you been! I was worried sick! You didn’t even think to call? Get inside! NOW!”

Screenshot-86

Without responding, Kaywinnit fled for the safety of the house, where Mortimer was still waiting.

Screenshot-87

Hormones running high, she didn’t even bother telling him how she felt and planted her first kiss on him. Ahh, young love.

Screenshot-41Speaking of hormones, Elsa’s must be running on overtime. On the way back to the house she felt the familiar kick of her new baby bump.

Screenshot-21

Calling Gage out to her, she prepared to tell him the news in private, undoubtable she expected the worst possible reaction, as this wasn’t the first time she had to do this…

Elsa: “Gage. I know it’s a little soon, but you’re going to be a father”

Screenshot-23

Much to her relief though, he took it extremely well, embracing her tightly to reassure that everything was going to be okay.

Screenshot-251Gage: “I’ve always wanted to be a father. This is fantastic.”

This pregnancy went by rather quickly, and without any hiccups. Gage was so caring and was there for Elsa for everything.

Screenshot-45Gage: “Hunny, go back to bed, I’ll tend the garden this morning, we don’t want to put any stress on you or the baby”

This was a nice change from Hanks behaviour, but then again, Gage is a good-natured person, especially to those he cares about.

And speaking of babies. Kaywinnit and Joss were growing up rather quickly. Kay spent most of her time around Mort’s house, making out…

Screenshot-52

And Joss also hung out at the Goth household, but for different reasons, he had found a rather interesting ghost girl in the Goth’s family plot.

Screenshot-80

And it was on this night that baby decided to come. It was a very quick labour, and 7 pounds 4ounces Triana Dowsey was born. She rolled the traits artistic and clumsy.

Screenshot-53

And I shall leave it here for now, as much has happened, and much more still to come.

Will the two older childrens accept their new sibling? Will Elsa and Gage stay together?

Life in the Dowsey household is getting a lot more cramped… Stay tuned for the next chapter!
