Chapter Eight: Slow Week July 5, 2009

It’s been a slow few weeks for the Dowsey Clan, the Dailey rut of working, cleaning, cooking and running a household has left Elsa very little time for play. But as for the two younger members, well. Let’s just see what they have been up too.

Joss: “And then, once I hack into the mainframe I will be able to funnel all their funds into my own bank about, and I’ll be rich, RICH!”

Elsa: “Uh-huh, Okay hunny, I think we need to cut down on your sugar…”

Awww, isn’t he just the sweetest little evil villain you ever birthed?

Oh, -you’re- back are you? I was just getting used to the peace and quiet.

Yeah yeah yeah. Well now you have two bundles of joy that I can follow around now too!

And here we have Kaywinnit, good little school girl doing her homework with Mortykins *makes kissy sounds*

Waahh! You scared me! And yes. I am doing my homework with Morty. He’s a very respectable boy you know. Now shoo! I’m trying to concentrate.

Okay okay. We’ll go find your brother to bug.

Looks like you ran into some trouble down there, eh Joss?

Just a little. I wanted to get some samples to start practicing on. I wouldn’t mind an army of ghosts.

And how’s that working out for you?

Well I have been meeting a little ghost a few times a week if I manage to stay out of the cops’ way. But she’s not very army-worthy.

I see; well good luck on that!

Like I said. It’s been rather slow in the Dowsey’s life, apart from overhearing a few juicy phone calls between Elsa and a mystery man. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

The next day rolls around, and Elsa is once again in the bathroom looking rather glum, but not vomiting, actually, she’s with Kaywinnit.

Kay: Mum! It’s okay that it’s your birthday! I’m sure you’ll be just as perky and go-getting as you were yesterday!

Elsa: I know, but, I feel like my youth has passed me by.

Kay: Age isn’t everything. You can still go out there and live your life!

And with that, Elsa aged into an Adult armed with a new look, and wrinkles too!

So, birthday girl, you throwing a party, huh?

Yes, I am, but it isn’t for me, it’s for Joss; it’s his birthday tonight too!

How lovely… who’s that youre inviting?.

Shh. No one.

“Oh hey sweetie, I was wondering if you wanted to come around tonight for a birthday party? Yes? Great! Come around at 8!”

Oooo, who was that, eh?

None of your bees wax! Now get a move on, I have a party to organise!

Writer’s Comments: I didn’t have much fun writing this chapter, as absolutely -nothing- happened of interest, apart from the birthdays, so I still had to throw them in there. So I’m sorry that its so sucky, I can promise that the next few should be alot more interesting!
