A new day. A new chapter in the life of Elsa Dowsey. We last left her alone with thoughts of her new life, she had a good job, and a small, but liveable home, but still with no future partner insight. Let us go see what Miss Dowsey has been up to lately… Urm. Oh there she is! Looking rather depressed and alone…
*Sigh* Yes. . I am -alone-. I think I’m the only one who IS alone! Everybody else has -someone- but me!
Well. You do have me; doesn’t that count for something, right?
NO! Are you crazy!? I need SOMEONE. Not just a stinking -voice- that decides to bug me at random times…

Well I’m not going to pretend like that didn’t hurt, but fair enough. But it’s pretty obvious that you need to work on your people skills.
It’s not my people skills that need to be worked on! I have MAD skills! I just have bad Karma.
You don’t say? How did you come to that conclusion?
Well, it all started at the beginning of the week. I got a call from Vita Alto, saying that they saw my articles in the paper, and wanted me to write a Si-Fi book for them. I agreed and got straight into it at the library.

Uh-huh, seems like pretty good luck at the moment. But go on.
Well. I was working on the book “Space Ferret and the Donkey from Mars” late into the night at the library, and I was getting pretty tired. I wanted to head home, but I also wanted to finish up the book…

Well, that’s when I ‘borrowed’ the computer and took it home with me; I could finish it before work tomorrow.
I had a great nights rest and got right into it the next morning. Only to have the damn thing break on me!

Mmm. I see; the Karma bug is starting to bite, eh?
Yes. It was. I didn’t have enough time to fix it myself before work, and I certainly didn’t have the money to hire someone to. So I gave up and went to work. Which I was already about and hour late for!

Finally after a long and stressful day of slacking off, I went to the park to have a game of chess and a chat with Vita about the book. She was quiet pleased with what I had written so far and gave me some coin for the chapters I had submitted.

Well that was nice of her.
Well I am writing her a book, and it’s not like she can’t spare the cash. I found out that this woman was LOADED! And once I found that out I went straight home to finish the book, then around to her place to hand it over. And that’s when I saw it.
Saw what?
The car. Oh baby! She was beautiful. Once Vita had gone back inside I couldn’t help it. She had to be mine.

And so you stole it.
And so I took it for commission. Hey. Not like she would miss it. Right? Anyway. After I took it home and parked it outside my place, basked in my good luck, I headed to bed. The next day was the weekend, so I decided to go for a wander around town.
I went up to the graveyard, I heard the mausoleum was haunted, and thought that it would have been a great place to find a topic for my articles. Sadly Karma had other plans for me.
Karma bitting at you some more?
Bitting? Hell no. Karma basically had ripped my arms off and was beating me senseless with them!

Ouch. I see that.
I went home. Had a shower. And took my anger out on the nearest object that I could find. A gnome statue that I found in that portal to hell they call the mausoleum.
Poor Gnome. I’m sure he didn’t deserve that.

I don’t care! But I –knew- this had to end. So. Regrettably I returned the car. Apologised and came home. HOPING that things would be back to normal. I also fixed my computer, stood the gnome up, and after all that collapsed in bed..
But I guess we’ll have to wait until the next chapter to find out if things were back to ‘normal’ for our dear Elsa. Stay tuned for her next adventure, ‘Man Hunt’
That first picture at the top just reminds me of the video for Destiny by Zero 7. Everyone has someone but poor Elsa.
Wow this is really a good story! You are a totally creative writer in my personal opinion. So please, visit my site! Happy simming!
